This Holiday season, we hope that you will take advantage of one of these great opportunities to provide a perfect gift for someone you love, while simultaneously (and at no additional expense) supporting the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation!

Through these partnerships, these organizations have already donated nearly $500 to KLEF in 2024.

Your support will go directly to support our programs and services that we offer to those in need throughout Kentucky.

We cannot do what we do without YOU!

Honor someone as Life Patron or Finis E. Davis Fellow.

The Patron Program was created to provide assistance to those Kentuckians who are under-insured and in need of eye surgery.  To fund the program, members of Lions Clubs in Kentucky can recognize members and non-members by making them a Life Patron with a $100 donation to KLEF.  Clubs or individuals can further these honors by contributing a total of $500 to make someone a Silver Patron and a total $1,000 to make someone a Gold Patron.  These donations go directly to the Patron Program which assists those in financial need to have sight saving surgeries or treatments.

The Finis E. Davis Fellowship was created to honor the memory of Kentucky’s first and only President of Lions Clubs International.  PIP Finis served as President in 1960-1961.  Then in 1967-68 he was President of the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation.  He spearheaded the drive to raise the first two million dollars to build the Kentucky Lions Eye Research Institute, which is now a world-class center, and dedicated his life to Lionism. The fellowship is available to everyone, not just Lions, Lioness or Leos. It may also be given as a memorial.

The Davis Fellowship may be obtained by a contribution of $500 or more to the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation.  The contribution may be made over a period of time by making payment of not less than $100.  The Fellowship will be presented upon receipt of the final payment.  Checks should be made to the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation.  The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

The recipient of the Finis E. Davis Fellowship will receive a personalized plaque from the current Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation President, a Finis E. Davis Fellow patch & a Finis E. Davis Fellow pin.

Give a gift in honor of someone who has everything.

Shopping for someone who already has everything but still want to give them something to let them know you care?  Consider making a donation to KLEF in their honor.  KLEF will send him/her a card letting them know that you made a gift in their honor during the holiday season.  This can be a great way to make someone feel special!

Sophie Before.jpg

Your support enables the Foundation to continue our programs and help Kentuckians like the West family in Louisville.  Sophie was born with limited vision due to weakened eye muscles.  Although both of her parents work and have insurance, their deductible was more than they could afford to pay upfront for the surgery to help save Sophie's sight.  Because of the past generosity of yourself and others, The Foundation's Patron Program was able to help.

Today, Sophie is doing well and is enjoying school!
